Saving Your Brain, an innovative and compassionate neurodevelopmental therapy center, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-time Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team in Tampa, FL. As an Occupational Therapist asistant , you will provide specialized therapy services for children with neurodevelopmental challenges, including ADHD, Dyslexia, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, and OCD. We utilize the Melillo Method and Neurofeedback techniques to support our clients' growth and well-being. The ideal candidate has a passion for working with children, a commitment to learning new skills, and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients and their families.Responsibilities:
Provide individualized occupational therapy sessions using the Melillo Method and Neurofeedback techniques (We train you in The Melillo Method). Develop and implement treatment plans based on clients' specific needs and goals Collaborate with the Saving Your Brain team to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation Communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues Stay current on the latest research and techniques in neurodevelopmental and occupational therapyQualifications:
Degree in Occupational Therapy assistant Licensure as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state of Florida Experience working with children with neurodevelopmental challenges (ADHD, Dyslexia, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, OCD) Compassionate and empathetic approach to therapy Strong communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to learn and apply new therapeutic techniques and approaches Ability to work part-time, with morning or afternoon shifts availableBenefits:
