Job Description
Come join a fantastic therapy team that is dedicated to maintaining a positive company culture and thriving work environment for all!
The Adapt Therapy Difference:
Adapt Therapy is not your typical outpatient pediatric clinic for three main reasons: We are not about the bottom line We take pride in employee satisfaction We work to live, not live to work Adapt Therapy was started by 2 therapists who saw a need for a change in the therapy culture. Therapists far too often experience burnout by overloaded schedules, productivity requirements, empty promises, and unrealistic expectations placed on them. They feel like just another cog in the wheel and not valued for all that they bring to the table. The Adapt Therapy difference is that we are not about the bottom line. We know just how valuable of an asset you are as a clinician and the incredible impact you have on shaping the future of countless children and their families. That is something to be very proud of and you deserve to be treated appropriately for that. That being said, we have very high standards for our team members, yet our expectations are realistic and feasible. Adapt Therapy is currently looking for a full time Occupational Therapist OR Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with the following credentials: Masters degree in Occupational Therapy OR Associates degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting Active Idaho state OT license Minimum 1 year experience in pediatrics preferred Desired experience in: Outpatient pediatrics ages 0-21 Specific experience with sensory processing disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, ODD, learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, behavioral, and social skills treatment A variety of developmental delay disorders (e.g. Cerebral Palsy) Feeding / Oral Motor We are looking for an individual who is a problem solver, innovator, adapts to their surroundings and circumstances, and is flexible. We want an individual that isn't afraid of a new challenge or setting sail into uncharted waters. We are looking for someone who demonstrates beneficence for the children and the families that they interact with. We are looking for a strong communicator, someone that thrives in social situations, and is exceptional at making connections. We are looking for someone that is positive, takes charge, and works incredibly well independently as well as part of a cohesive team. We want someone who understands the importance of life balance and demonstrates said quality on a regular basis. We are looking for someone who can PROVE these attributes in an interview, shadowing, and observation situation.Pay:
