Job Description
Services are primarily provided in:
homes schools daycares community-based settings Responsibilities OTR/L Responsibilities Perform pediatric occupational therapy evaluations and treatment sessions in homes, schools, and/or daycare settings Develop individualized treatment plans and goals fine motor skills visual motor integration sensory processing regulation executive functioning motor planning and coordination participation in daily routines and school activities Collaborate with parents, teachers, and related providers Complete timely documentation using EMR system COTA Responsibilities Provide pediatric OT treatment sessions under OT supervision Implement treatment plans developed by supervising OTR/L Support children in improving regulation, fine motor skills, coordination, sensory processing, and participation in daily activities Communicate with families and supervising therapist regarding progress Complete timely documentationQualifications Required For OTR/L:
Current Illinois Occupational Therapist license (OTR/L)For COTA:
Current Illinois COTA licenseFor Both Positions:
Experience or strong interest in pediatric occupational therapy Comfort working independently in home and/or school-based settings Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills Ability to build rapport with children and families Preferred (Not Required) Experience with pediatric home health or school-based therapy Familiarity with pediatric assessments (BOT-3, PDMS-3, Beery VMI, Sensory Profile, etc.) Experience working with neurodivergent children Experience supporting sensory processing, regulation, and executive functioning skills What We Offer Flexible scheduling Supportive small-practice environment Autonomy with scheduling and caseload management Opportunity to work in naturalistic, functional environments Collaborative communication and mentorship Meaningful relationships with families and school teams Realistic and flexible caseload expectations How to Apply Please submit: your resume brief introduction pediatric experience/background current availability/location preferences We would love to learn more about you and your interest in pediatric OT!Work Location:
