• Assist occupational therapists in conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to promote patient independence and quality of life
• Conduct occupational therapy treatments, including exercises, activities, and modalities, as directed by the occupational therapist
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, and modifications to promote continued progress and independence
• Document patient progress, treatment plans, and billing information in a timely and accurate manner
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans and achieve patient-centered goals

Requirements:

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification
• High school diploma or equivalent required
