Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
PRN Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team at Silvis Center Rehab and Care in Silvis, Illinois. As a COTA, you will work closely with our occupational therapy department to help patients regain skills and independence. - Assist occupational therapists in conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to promote patient independence and quality of life
- Conduct occupational therapy treatments, including exercises, activities, and modalities, as directed by the occupational therapist
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, and modifications to promote continued progress and independence
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and billing information in a timely and accurate manner
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans and achieve patient-centered goals
Requirements:
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification
- High school diploma or equivalent required
