Job Description

Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic educational environment supporting students from Pre-K through 12th grade as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) floater. As an essential part of the school team, you'll play a key role in fostering student success, contributing to their independence, and adapting to varying caseloads throughout the academic year. This contract opportunity runs from early September to late June, providing a fulfilling way to make an impact within a diverse school community.
Key Qualifications:
Active COTA certification with appropriate state licensure (or eligibility) Previous experience working with school-aged children or adolescents is strongly preferred Flexibility and adaptability to float across multiple sites and age groups Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans under the supervision of an
OT Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services to Pre-K-12th grade students Support individualized education programs (IEPs) and goal-setting for students Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families across multiple school sites Maintain clear records, documenting student progress and updating treatment data Adapt to a flexible weekly schedule, with time split between four hours a week at one site, and additional days across two others
