Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. The COTA will work under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists to provide therapy services to patients in a variety of settings. This role plays a crucial part in helping individuals improve their quality of life and regain independence through specialized therapy techniques.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans. 2. Provide hands-on therapy to patients using various therapeutic techniques. 3. Monitor and document patient progress in therapy sessions. 4. Educate patients and their families on home exercises and activities to support therapy goals. 5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients. 6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). 2. Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program. 3. State licensure as required. 4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 5. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. 6.
