Job Description

Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Bring your passion for pediatric therapy to a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across a range of ages and needs. This position is designed for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who is excited to serve as a flexible float, providing intervention and support to Pre-K through 12th grade students. With start and end dates from September 3, 2026, through June 24, 2027, you'll collaborate closely with school teams, making a meaningful impact in multiple educational settings.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification and licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Prior experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred Ability to adapt strategies for diverse age groups and educational environments Strong communication and organization skills Collaborative mindset and a commitment to student-centered care
Role Responsibilities:
Manage a flexible caseload across multiple school sites, supporting Pre-K-12 students Deliver direct occupational therapy services as guided by supervising OTs and IEP requirements Maintain clear, timely documentation of interventions and student progress Adapt therapy materials and activities to individual student needs and goals Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals Adjust to evolving caseload numbers and daily schedules as student needs arise This contract offers approximately 29 hours per week, with potential to increase to 30 hours based on your availability. As a floater, your dedication helps ensure consistent, high-quality therapy services—even as specific site assignments may shift.
