Job Description

Denton Nursing and Rehab We are currently seeking a passionate and licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing team. In this role, you'll work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OTR) to help residents regain their independence and improve their quality of life through tailored therapy plans.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited program with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy Holds current state license and/or registration (as applicable)
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality treatment services under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist Assist in identifying appropriate residents for occupational therapy and collaborate on treatment plans Accurately document patient participation and progress, ensuring timely OTR co-signature Assist in managing treatment orders, re-certifications, and discharge documentation Maintain compliance with state-specific regulations and facility standards
