Job Description

Deliver direct patient care according to the therapist's plan of care, including treatment interventions, caregiver training, equipment use, and referrals. Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and contribute to discharge planning. Support patients and families by providing education, motivation, and encouragement. Collaborate with rehab team members and participate in team and case conferences. Provide supervision and mentorship to aides, students, observers, and volunteers. Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program with an Associate of Arts degree.
Licensure:
Maryland Occupational Therapy Assistant license (or temporary license pending board exam/reciprocity).
Certification:
Current BLS certification (not required for Behavioral Health). Strong clinical skills, responsibility, and dedication to patient care. Ability to motivate, encourage, and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey. Be part of a collaborative, patient-centered rehab team.
