This role includes a mix of clinic-based care and community visits (primarily youth), offering the opportunity to make a meaningful difference where it matters most. If you're passionate about helping individuals overcome physical, cognitive, or emotional challenges and enjoy working collaboratively under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, we'd love to connect with you. Primary populations served include Autism, ADHD, Developmental Delay, and adolescents in the Juvenile Justice System. What You'll Do Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a supervising Occupational Therapist (OTR) Provide therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living and functional skills Assist with patient screenings and contribute observations toward evaluations Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques, equipment use, and carryover strategies Document patient progress, responses to treatment, and session outcomes accurately and timely Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support coordinated, patient-centered care Participate in community and clinic therapy sessions as assigned Qualifications Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Active Michigan Occupational Therapy Assistant license (or eligibility to obtain) NBCOT certification (COTA required) 1-2 years of experience preferred (pediatrics or behavioral health experience is a plus) Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist What We Offer Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (after waiting period) Paid Time Off + 11 Paid Holidays Bonus Opportunities + Longevity Bonus Tuition Reimbursement Supportive, team-oriented work environment Why Team Wellness Center?
