In this vital role, you will collaborate closely with occupational therapists and healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care. Your expertise will help patients regain independence, improve their quality of life, and achieve their therapy goals. This position offers consistent weekly pay and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through compassionate, skilled support. Duties Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and safety. Implement individualized care plans developed by occupational therapists, ensuring each patient receives tailored therapy interventions. Support patients across various settings including inpatient units, outpatient clinics, home health visits, and skilled nursing facilities. Utilize your knowledge of physiology and anatomy to monitor patient progress and adapt therapy techniques accordingly. Document patient responses, progress notes, and treatment outcomes accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans and optimize patient recovery trajectories. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards during all patient interactions. Skills Strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy relevant to occupational therapy practices. Experience assisting with ADLs and implementing care plans in diverse settings such as skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics, or home health environments. Knowledge of geriatrics, pediatrics, inpatient care, outpatient services, and acute care settings. Familiarity with medical imaging concepts and occupational health principles is a plus. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to supporting individuals across different age groups and health conditions. Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with patients and healthcare providers. Prior experience in skilled nursing facilities or clinic environments is highly desirable to ensure seamless integration into the team.
