Job Description
At Professional Rehabilitation Consultants, we are dedicated to helping individuals improve their daily functioning, emotional wellness, and quality of life through compassionate, client-centered occupational therapy services. Our clinic specializes in supporting clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing challenges, people in recovery for substance abuse and other behavioral and emotional health needs. We believe in a collaborative, supportive environment where therapists are empowered to make meaningful impacts in the lives of their clients.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing mental health-focused occupational therapy clinic. The ideal candidate is passionate about mental health, emotional regulation, sensory integration, executive functioning, and helping clients develop practical life skills for success at home, school, work, and within the community. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans and support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals. Responsibilities Implement occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist Support clients with emotional regulation, sensory integration, executive functioning, social participation, and daily living skills Build positive therapeutic relationships with clients and families Document treatment sessions, client progress, and observations accurately and timely Collaborate with therapists, caregivers, schools, and other professionals Assist in developing therapeutic activities and interventions tailored to client needs Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging therapy environmentJob Type:
