  • Skilled Nursing & Long-Term Care New Brighton Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team serving residents in both skilled nursing and long-term care.
The COTA will work under the direction of the Occupational Therapist to help residents improve independence, daily functioning, and overall quality of life through individualized therapy programs. Responsibilities Assist in implementing individualized occupational therapy treatment plans established by the Occupational Therapist Provide therapeutic interventions focused on activities of daily living, mobility, coordination, strength, and cognitive functioning Monitor and report resident progress to the Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary team Complete accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements Collaborate with nursing staff, therapy team members, physicians, residents, and families Educate residents and caregivers on adaptive equipment and therapeutic techniques Maintain productivity standards while providing high-quality resident-centered care Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license/certification in applicable state Skilled nursing and/or long-term care experience preferred Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills Passion for working with the geriatric population Benefits Flexible PRN scheduling Competitive pay Supportive interdisciplinary team environment Opportunities for professional growth Meaningful work making a difference in residents' lives Why Join Us?
