Job Description

Adept Nursing & Rehab of Central City is now hiring a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)! Are you a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others? Our Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated COTA to join our therapy team and help residents regain independence, improve daily functioning, and enhance their quality of life. Benefits Competitive salary based on experience PRN 401 k Supportive therapy team environment Opportunities for professional growth and continuing education Flexible scheduling options The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide rehabilitative services to residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. This role focuses on helping residents improve their ability to perform activities of daily living and achieve their highest level of independence.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) program Current state COTA license or eligibility to obtain Previous experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
Responsibilities:
Implement occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist Assist residents with therapeutic activities to improve mobility, strength, coordination, and independence Provide training in activities of daily living such as dressing, grooming, and bathing Document resident progress and communicate updates to the therapy team Maintain a safe and supportive therapy environment Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident care plans Educate residents and families on therapy techniques and adaptive equipment Apply today and become part of a team dedicated to excellence in rehabilitation and long-term care.
