The ideal candidate will work closely with the Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality therapeutic care that helps residents improve independence, mobility, and daily living skills.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to residents Monitor and document resident progress and report changes to the therapy team Maintain accurate and timely documentation Encourage residents and provide compassionate patient-centered care Ensure compliance with facility policies, state, and federal regulations
Qualifications:
Current COTA license/certification in the State of New Jersey Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Compassionate, reliable, and professional demeanor
