K-12 School-Based Services School-Based COTA Job Soliant Health is actively seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time school-based contract opportunity in the Hobbs, New Mexico area. This position will support students across the district in developing the functional, motor, and adaptive skills needed for success in the classroom environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a COTA who is passionate about pediatric therapy and supporting students in achieving independence and academic success. Position Details Full-Time position for the 2026-2027 school year Gathering additional caseload and assignment details Collaborative district environment with special education teams Contract position through Soliant Education Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy support services under supervision of an OT Implement individualized treatment plans for students Assist with fine motor, sensory, and functional skill development Support students with activities of daily living (ADLs) in the school setting Collaborate with OTs, teachers, administrators, and special education staff Participate in IEP-related meetings and goal implementation Document student progress and maintain accurate records Support student participation and access in academic environments
Qualifications Required:
Active New Mexico COTA license or eligibility Associate's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Ability to work effectively in a school-based team environment Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred:
