Job Description

  • Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Heritage is looking for a Part-Time or Full-Time OTA for our Logan facility.
25-40hrs per week Part-Time status offers PTO accrual and flexible scheduling Full-Time status offers PTO accrual and full benefits including medical, dental, vision Join our in-house therapy team! Our 135-bed facility in Logan is nestled in the picturesque scenery near Lake Logan State Park and is conveniently located off Route 33 between Lancaster and Athens. The therapy staff and interdisciplinary team strive to create a comprehensive care plan that is unique to each short-term, outpatient, or long-term patient. We are committed to providing care so every resident can reach peak independence and functionality. Our dedicated therapy team has a proven track record of getting results! The therapy gym is spacious and equipped with all the tools that a therapist needs to provide the most effective treatment interventions. Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized treatment plans under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
  • Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic activities and interventions.
  • Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercises.
  • Utilize knowledge in physiology, medical terminology, and occupational health to deliver high-quality care. Qualifications
  • Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and anatomy.
