Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Ohio COTA license in good standing (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience in school settings preferred, with an understanding of IEPs and educational documentation Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with occupational therapists, educators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the delivery of occupational therapy services to students as prescribed by the supervising Occupational Therapist Support implementation of IEP goals through direct interventions and adaptive strategies Document student progress and maintain accurate, timely records Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to reinforce skills in the classroom setting Participate in team meetings, contribute to evaluation and planning processes
