Job Description

~Occupational Therapy Assistant~ Heritage is seeking a Part-Time or Full-Time OTA to join our in-house therapy team at Embassy of Willard.
Part-Time status:
20-30 hrs PTO accrual Flexible scheduling Full-Time status: 30 hours (hours also available at Crystal Care in Ashland) PTO accrual Medical/vision/dental insurance 401k programming Our 59-bed facility in Willard is in a beautiful rural setting and is easily accessible from the surrounding communities located near Norwalk, Bellvue, Tiffin, and New London. The therapy staff and interdisciplinary team strive to create a comprehensive care plan that is unique to each short-term, outpatient, or long-term patient. We are committed to providing care so every resident can reach peak independence and functionality. Our dedicated therapy team has a proven track record of getting results! Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized treatment plans under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
  • Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic activities and interventions.
  • Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercises.
  • Utilize knowledge in physiology, medical terminology, and occupational health to deliver high-quality care. Qualifications
  • Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and anatomy.
