Job Description

Overview Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant•LTCA in Lawton, Oklahoma, USA. This is a travel assignment starting 07/13/2026 for 13 weeks with a weekly pay range of $1,297•1,384 and a flexible shift. The position supports inpatient rehab and acute care units within a hospital setting.

Setting:
inpatient rehab unit or acute care unit Weekend rotation: approximately 3 per quarter Responsibilities Provide skilled occupational therapy services to patients on the inpatient rehab unit or acute care unit, including evaluation, treatment planning, and progress documentation. Collaborate with the rehabilitation team; participate in rounds and discharge planning; co-treat with PTAs in the acute care setting as needed. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address functional goals; adjust plans based on patient progress and goals. Document patient progress in the medical record, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely updates. Educate patients and families on activities of daily living, safety strategies, and community reintegration as appropriate. Manage a typical rehab census (inpatient rehab) around 12 patients, coordinating care with other disciplines to optimize outcomes.
