Overview Position:
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant -
COTA Location:
969 Eisenhower Blvd Johnstown, PA 15904
Schedule:
PRN Weekdays (Tues and Thurs)
Compensation:
$28.00 - $33.00/hour, pending experience We are seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support our outpatient orthopedic team with a focus on hand therapy. In this role, you will treat a variety of upper extremity conditions, including tendon injuries, sprains, strains, post-operative fractures, and more. You will collaborate closely with our Certified Hand Therapist, ensuring you have the guidance and resources needed to succeed. New Graduates Welcome to Apply! Why Work With Us? Responsibilities Detail-Oriented:
Observe, note and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goals and ensure proper documentation of patient care.
Education:
Teach patients new ways of approaching tasks and how to break down activities into achievable components.
High Standard of Care:
Maintain professional standards through compliance with quality assurance policies/procedures and applicable regulations and corporate policies
Personalized Treatment:
Under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist, optimize patients' functional abilities and skills. Qualifications Graduate of an ACOTA accredited occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program State COTA license (or license eligible) CPR certification Valid state driver's license Additional Data Equal Opportunity Employer/including Disabled/Veterans
