Job Description

UPT Services Inc. is currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing mobile therapy team serving NE Philadelphia and Bucks County. This is a flexible part-time/PRN opportunity ideal for clinicians seeking supplemental income and schedule flexibility while providing one-on-one care in the home setting. The COTA will provide skilled occupational therapy treatment under the direction of a supervising Occupational Therapist to adult and geriatric patients in their homes. Responsibilities include assisting patients with improving functional mobility, activities of daily living (ADLs), balance, strength, safety awareness, and overall independence within the home environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, compassionate, and comfortable working independently in the field.
Responsibilities:
Provide skilled in-home occupational therapy treatments under supervising OT plan of care Assist patients with ADLs, functional mobility, safety, and independence training Educate patients and caregivers on home safety, adaptive strategies, and therapeutic exercises Complete timely electronic documentation and communicate patient progress with supervising therapist Monitor patient response to treatment and report significant changes in condition Maintain professionalism and compliance with all company and healthcare standards
Qualifications:
Active Pennsylvania COTA license in good standing Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Strong communication and organizational skills Home health or outpatient experience preferred but not required Ability to work independently and manage flexible scheduling
