Edenbrook South is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant t o join our team.
Position:
Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Primary Job Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist. Provide direct therapy services to residents under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist. Communicate resident progress or any concerns to the Occupational Therapist, supervisor, and interdisciplinary team members. Instruct families and nursing staff on patient follow-through programs as directed by the Occupational Therapist. Maintain documentation of treatment provided and progress made in accordance with facility guidelines and regulatory requirements. Ensure that all equipment used during therapy sessions is in safe working order, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Follow facility protocols and safety standards to ensure a safe environment for both residents and staff.
Qualifications:
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing in the state Current CPR certification. Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
