• Medicaid waiver programs. Help support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to build independence, improve daily living skills, and thrive in community settings!

• Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT), following person-centered plans (e.g., PDP/IPC goals).
• Provide hands-on therapy for adaptive skills, fine/gross motor development, sensory processing, ADLs, positioning, and environmental adaptations.
• Document sessions accurately, track progress, and ensure compliance with HHSC billing requirements, Texas Administrative Code (Chapters 262 & 263), and Medicaid rules.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, families, and providers to coordinate care.
• Conduct therapy in homes, community settings, or day programs as authorized.
• Maintain up-to-date records for audits, authorizations, and quality assurance.

• Requirements:

• Active Texas license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) issued by the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners (TBOTE/ECPTOTE).
• Experience or strong interest in serving individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (IDD) in community-based settings.
• Valid Texas driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks, including abuse/neglect registries.
• Strong communication, organizational skills, and commitment to person-centered care.
