Job Description

Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract We are actively seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a specialized school team in Providence, Rhode Island. This role serves students with high needs and severe disabilities and offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team.
Position Details:
Full-time schedule High-needs, severe caseload Safety-Care Training provided Supportive school team and leadership Director is ready to interview this week
Responsibilities:
Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist Provide direct support to students in individual and group settings Assist with data collection, documentation, and progress monitoring Collaborate with educators and related service providers Support students in developing functional, academic, and life skills
Qualifications:
Active Rhode Island COTA license/certification School-based or pediatric experience preferred Experience working with students with significant disabilities and behavioral challenges is highly preferred Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and motivated COTA looking to make a positive impact in a rewarding educational setting.
