Advanced Rehab and Healthcare of Bowie, TX is searching for a Full Time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join the BOWIE team. Responsibilities:
Administering medically prescribed Occupational Therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and promote healing. Provides skilled COTA services/interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist Responds to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the OT Implements and modifies the patients Occupational Therapists plan of treatment with OT supervision. Monitor patient response to treatment intervention and modify treatment approach and directive as clinically appropriate with IDT collaboration. Provide clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregivers. Ensure documentation is completed thoroughly and timely and complies with all company and state/federal regulatory requirements. Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.
Requirements:
SNF/Long term care experience preferred Current knowledge of treatment practices Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred
