Your responsibilities will include:

Administering occupational therapy treatments and adapting interventions as patient needs and abilities change Supporting patients and families with education, encouragement, and practical strategies for recovery and independence Documenting patient progress accurately and contributing input to care planning and interdisciplinary team discussions Collaborating closely with Occupational Therapists to respond to changes in patient status and ensure safe, effective care Serving as a trusted resource for patients, caregivers, and colleagues while fostering a positive, supportive care environment What qualifications you will need: Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date (OTA) Occupational Therapy Assistant certified and licensed in the state of Texas Associate Degree from an accredited OTA program Experience in an acute care facility preferred; new grads will be considered Must be able to work weekdays Benefits Valley Regional Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
