Description Occupational Therapist Assistant
  • Pediatric Home Health We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our pediatric home health team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist licensed occupational therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients in their homes
  • Conduct therapeutic activities to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills
  • Monitor and document patient progress, reporting findings to supervising therapists
  • Educate families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies to support ongoing development
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment during therapy sessions
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with agency policies and regulations
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) or equivalent credential
  • Prior experience working with pediatric populations preferred
  • Knowledge of pediatric developmental milestones and therapeutic techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to diverse home environments
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
