Full Job Description About Us:
Join a patient‑centered outpatient therapy team serving residents in an IFL AFL setting. We provide high‑quality, functional, and restorative care focused on mobility, independence, fall prevention, and activities of daily living.
Position Summary:
Provide skilled, evidence‑based occupational or physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed therapist to adult and geriatric patients in an IFL AFL outpatient clinic and onsite visits. Caseload may include orthopedics, neurologic diagnoses, balance and gait deficits, adaptive equipment training, and
ADL/IADL
retraining. Key Responsibilities Deliver skilled OTA/PTA services per treatment plans and therapist direction Conduct therapeutic interventions: therapeutic exercise, balance/gait training, manual techniques, functional task practice, modalities as indicated Train residents/caregivers on transfers, adaptive equipment, home safety, and fall prevention Document accurately and timely in electronic medical record; maintain compliance with regulatory standards Communicate with supervising therapist, interdisciplinary team, and families Assist with scheduling, equipment management, and quality improvement initiatives Qualifications Certified/Registered COTA or PTA in Texas Current CPR certification Valid driver's license Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills Experience with outpatient geriatrics, long‑term care, or ALF/IFL settings preferred Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team Schedule & Compensation Full‑time: [hours/week], competitive salary + benefits
