Pediatrics Full Job Description Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Overview:

Requirements:
Associates of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university Current state of Texas licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant 6 months full-time clinical experience Pediatrics experience Home Health experience preferred Must carry valid auto insurance and driver's license.
Responsibilities include:
Provides skilled occupational therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders Provides skilled occupational therapy services/interventions in the patients home or daytime facility Schedules supervision visit(s) with his/her supervising OT according to Texas board guidelines Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient Plans for care to meet goals of the occupational therapy interventions Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations. Enhances occupational therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
