Certification and registration as a COTA by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Possess current state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. Demonstrate 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting, with a preference for previous pediatric setting work. Show a solid understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices, with a proven ability to implement therapy plans efficiently. Exhibit outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, crucial for effective collaboration with both our therapy team and clients' families. Display a genuine commitment to ongoing professional development, ensuring you remain informed about the cutting edge of occupational therapy practices. Your role as a COTA As part of our interdisciplinary team, you will: Collaborate closely with our occupational therapist to execute tailored therapy plans for our diverse clientele. Perform comprehensive client assessments to gauge their needs and monitor progress. Aid clients in daily activities aimed at boosting their independence and overall well-being. Diligently document all client progress and any notable changes in their condition, ensuring precise and timely reports. Foster effective communication with the therapy team and clients' families to guarantee coordinated and comprehensive care.
