Job Description

Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Step into an exciting opportunity supporting students' growth and success as a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the upcoming academic year. This contract position offers the chance to make a significant impact, providing vital therapeutic services within a school-based setting close to the Marble Falls, TX area. Ideal candidates are passionate about pediatric care, skilled at collaborating with educators and other therapists, and eager to help students achieve their goals. School-based experience is highly valued, as is the ability to adapt interventions to each student's unique abilities and needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active COTA certification required Pediatric experience highly preferred Previous work in a school or educational environment is a plus Familiarity with IEPs and progress documentation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational abilities and adaptability
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with occupational therapists and school staff to deliver interventions aligned with student IEPs Assist in developing and modifying classroom activities and accommodations to maximize participation Provide direct, hands-on therapy to students to improve their fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and collaborate in meetings to support student outcomes Engage in ongoing communication with teachers, parents, and related service providers What to
