Job Description

Overview Join our team at Unique Pediatric Rehab Center as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)! In this rewarding role, you will work alongside licensed Occupational Therapists to help children and young adults develop the skills needed for greater independence and participation in everyday activities. Our clinic serves pediatric clients ages 12 months through 21 years with a variety of developmental, behavioral, and neurological diagnoses, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, developmental delays, sensory processing challenges, and other pediatric conditions. Duties Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a licensed Occupational Therapist Provide engaging, play-based therapy sessions that address fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, self-care, and daily living skills Monitor patient progress and document treatment sessions accurately and efficiently Educate and collaborate with parents and caregivers regarding treatment goals and home programs Communicate effectively with Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and other team members Maintain a safe, organized, and positive therapy environment Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities Experience Current Texas Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license required CPR certification preferred Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred but not required Knowledge of child development, sensory processing, and pediatric therapy interventions is beneficial Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to build positive relationships with children and families New graduates are encouraged to apply Schedule Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN positions available Flexible scheduling options Part-Time/PRN positions primarily consist of afternoon and evening hours Pediatric outpatient clinic setting
Compensation Full-Time Salary:
$65,000•80,000 annually, based on experience
Part-Time/PRN:
