Job Description

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Pediatric Outpatient Clinic
  • Winchester, VA
  • Starting at $28-35/hour (based on experience and certifications)
  • Full-Time (will consider part-time) SkyClimb Sensory Development Center is growing, and we are excited to expand both our team and our clinic space as we continue serving children and families in our community.
We are currently seeking a passionate, energetic, and relationship-centered Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our pediatric team full time. Our clinic specializes in sensory integration, nervous system regulation, emotional regulation, primitive reflex integration, motor coordination, and whole-child development. We are looking for a clinician who genuinely enjoys connecting with children and families while thinking critically about the "why" behind behaviors, regulation, and development.
Requirements:
Current COTA license Minimum of 2 years pediatric sensory integration experience Strong understanding of sensory processing and regulation Confidence working with neurodivergent children and complex sensory profiles Ability to collaborate closely with OTs and families Strong communication and documentation skills Positive, team-oriented attitude
Preferred Experience/Certifications:
Additional training and certifications are highly valued and will be strongly considered in compensation, including: Sensory Integration coursework Therapeutic Listening Primitive Reflex Integration Vision or vestibular training Emotional regulation/co-regulation approaches Feeding or oral motor experience Experience with autism, ADHD, dyspraxia, retained reflexes, and sensory modulation challenges

Compensation & Benefits:
