Job Description

Join Achieve Center in Kennewick, WA as a full-time Pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant to gain your footing in the child development space and gain valuable clinical experience that can propel your career forward! You'll work with motivated professionals to provide quality therapy and support to children with developmental disabilities and delays. Depending on experience, you'll earn $24.00 - $32.00/hour . QUALIFICATIONS
Our ideal Pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant has at least 2 years of professional experience, but it's not required for the right person with a compassionate attitude, a team spirit, and a drive to achieve real results! You'll need: Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Current Washington State Occupational Therapist Assistant license Strong knowledge of child development Passion for making a difference in the lives of children and a dedication to patient satisfaction Communication and collaboration skills for working with patients, physicians, and practice staff Basic computer proficiency
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF OUR PEDIATRIC OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT
You'll work 40 hours per week with some potential for a flexible work arrangement. This is your time to gain in-field experience, develop your clinical knowledge, and provide children with the support they need to meet their goals! You'll work alongside a caring, passionate multidisciplinary team to deliver quality therapy programming for children with developmental disabilities and/or delays. Approaching every session with care and understanding, you'll provide therapy related to feeding, motor coordination, cognitive functioning, sensory processing, psycho-social development, and more. You'll encourage patients, reward their accomplishments, and help drive real personal growth!
