Join Our Team as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA / OTA)!
Location:
Therapies Plus LLC3541 Plover Road, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54494
Status:
Hourly (FLSA Non-Exempt) 4 10 hour work days (off Friday-Sunday weekly) Be the Difference in a Child's Day At Therapies Plus LLC , we believe in empowering children and families through purposeful, compassionate care. We're looking to grow by adding a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapist (COTA) who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about helping pediatric patients reach their fullest potential. What You'll Do In this role, you'll partner closely with an Occupational Therapist to bring care plans to life:
Patient Support & Treatment:
Deliver direct therapy services under the guidance of a supervising OT, following individualized care plans.
Assessment Assistance:
Conduct patient screens (without interpretation) and gather assessment data to support evaluations.
Progress Tracking:
Document patient performance and progress toward established goals with accuracy and timeliness.
Adaptive Care:
Recognize when patients need adjustments to their treatment and communicate effectively with the supervising OT.
Patient & Family Education:
Teach and guide patients, caregivers, and families on therapy techniques and goals.
Team Collaboration:
Actively participate in multidisciplinary team processes and contribute to quality patient outcomes.
Operational Excellence:
Maintain equipment safety, assist with materials prep, and support clinic operations as needed.
Continuous Improvement:
Participate in training, continuing education, research initiatives, and quality improvement efforts.
Documentation Excellence:
Maintain accurate, timely records using Fusion Web Clinic and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards with point of service expectations. What Makes You a Great Fit You're dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about patient care.
You also bring:
Associate's Degree (or higher) from an AOTA-accredited program ACTIVE Wisconsin State licensure Strong clinical awareness and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Effective time management and organizational strengths Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Work Environment & Physical Demands Clinical office setting with occasional travel to other locations Frequent standing, walking, and patient transfers (20-250 lbs.) Exposure to standard clinical materials and environments Requires manual dexterity, strong communication, and visual acuity Why Therapies Plus LLC?
