As the Ophthalmic Technician Team Supervisor, you will play a key role in leading clinic operations, supporting providers, mentoring staff, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support a high-performing team of ophthalmic technicians Coordinate daily clinic flow and provider support for MD and OD teams Train, mentor, coach, and develop staff to enhance skills and performance Conduct onboarding, performance evaluations, recognition, and corrective action when needed Communicate daily priorities, workflow updates, and operational changes to staff Assist in improving provider schedules and clinic efficiency to optimize patient care Delegate and triage tasks effectively to maintain smooth operations Foster positive communication between providers, staff, and patients Resolve concerns professionally while maintaining a calm, patient-focused environment Requirements What We're Looking For Strong leadership and team-building skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced medical environment Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Passion for mentoring and developing others Proficiency with Microsoft Office or G-Suite Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience required Ophthalmology or medical office experience preferred Why Join Mountain View Eye Center We offer more than just a job; we offer a career with purpose, growth, and balance.Similar jobs in Fairbanks, AK
