Our patient-focused optometry office is expanding the clinical team and seeks a technician that enjoys working with staff and doctors to provide exceptional patient care.
Objectives for the technician role:
Ability to create and maintain relationships of confidence and trust with established and new patients Compassionate and professional when interacting with patients and coworkers Operation of auto-lensometer, auto-refractor, retinal camera, visual field, OCT, and topographer Ability to perform preliminary testing and documentation in electronic charting. Contact lens training/fitting for patients. Ability to work well with software systems once trained Computer savvy with accurate and efficient typing skills Ability to grow and adapt with the flow of the office and introduction of new medical technology Willingness and desire to work as a team with all members of the office Will train the right person as needed. Pay dependent on experience and ability. No weekends. Benefits available.
