Job Description

Mountain Home Surgery Center is now hiring a Experienced Surgical Technician. Located in Mountain Home Arkansas. We are currently accepting Resumes & Applications for an Experienced Scrub Tech position. Experience in Surgery and Sterile Technique is required. Must possess critical thinking skills, willingness to be a team player. This is a fulltime time position Monday - Friday. MHSC prefers an experienced Tech in Ophthalmic surgical procedures or experience as a Surgical tech with sterile technique. We will consider new Graduates from a Surgical Tech College. Summary As a Surgical Technologist, you will be an integral member of the surgical team, responsible for ensuring a sterile environment and assisting in various surgical procedures, particularly in ophthalmology. Your core skills in patient care, suturing, and critical care will be essential in supporting surgeons and providing optimal care for patients. With BLS certification and experience in medical terminology will enhance communication and efficiency in the operating room, making you a vital asset to our healthcare facility. Responsibilities Assist in preparing the operating room and ensuring all necessary surgical instruments are sterile and ready for use. Support the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field. Assist with basic life support as needed. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care in ophthalmology.
