Ophthalmic Technician Biltmore Eye Physicins Phoenix, AZ Job Details Full-time $19 - $25 an hour 16 hours ago Benefits Health savings account Health insurance Paid time off Uniform allowance Professional development assistance Bereavement leave Qualifications High school diploma or GED Ability to follow instructions Patient interaction Full Job Description Job Summary The ophthalmic technician is a key clinical team member who supports the ophthalmologist by providing thorough, efficient and compassionate patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients and perform workups including patient histories, including chief complaint, ocular and medical history, medications, allergies, and review of systems Perform diagnostic testing such as OCT, Optos, Visual Fields, Corneal Topography, Pachymetry, IOL Master/Biometry Accurately document findings in patient charts, maintain organized exam rooms, and help manage efficient patient flow throughout the day.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required COA/COT certification is a plus Ability to multitask, work as part of a team, follow detailed clinical protocols and physician instructions Excellent communication skills, professional demeanor, and ability to provide compassionate, attentive patient care
Pay:
$19.00 - $25.00 per hour
