We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping others and has a passion for eyecare or healthcare. Having at least 1-2 years of work experience in either retail, medical, customer service is required. Part-time must be available to work at least 3 weekdays. This position requires to work most Saturdays. Pay based on experience. Opportunity for growth. Primary duties include : 1. Answering phones 2. Scheduling appointments 3. Verifying insurances 4. Checking in patients for their exam 5. Conducting pre-exam testing, using optical instruments ie auto-refractor, retina camera, OCT, and manual lensometry. 6. Verifying eyewear orders are accurate 7. Assisting patients with contact lens orders 8. Insurance billing 9. Other tasks to help maintain office operations run smoothly Skills required: 1. Ability to communicate effectively 2. Maintain high evel of attention to detail and accuracy 3. Ability to follow instructions carefully 4. Ability to work well with others 5. Ability to use computers as we use electronic medical records 6. Ability to prioritize and manage tasks 7. Ability to work efficiently when the office gets busy
