  • Full-time Optometric Technician (Full-Time) We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and fast-paced team player to join our optometry practice.
This role is best suited for individuals who thrive in a structured, patient-focused environment and can stay productive throughout a full workday. Schedule (Non-Negotiable):
Monday-Friday:
7:45 AM
  • 5:15 PM One Saturday per month required Must be able to stay later than 5:15 PM when patient care requires it (Applicants must be able to commit to this schedule consistently.

What This Role Requires:
This is a high-accountability position where attention to detail, speed, and teamwork are essential. You will be responsible for both clinical and front office tasks and must be comfortable staying busy throughout your shift.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients and perform pre-testing (vision tests, eye pressure, etc.) Accurately document patient information Assist doctor efficiently during exams Support front office duties (phones, scheduling, check-in/out) Cross-train and step into different roles as needed Minimum Qualifications (Required): Strong attendance and reliability (no frequent call-outs or tardiness) Ability to work efficiently on a computer and tablet with speed and accuracy Comfortable with basic math (addition, subtraction, percentages) Clear and professional communication skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Must be a team player with a positive, cooperative attitude Preferred (but not required): Experience in optometry, medical, or customer service roles Experience working in a fast-paced or high-volume environment
