Job Description

Eyeconic is a premier ophthalmology practice located in Newport Beach, CA, committed to providing exceptional eye care and personalized patient experiences. Led by Dr. Reza Moradi, MD, we are a close-knit team dedicated to clinical excellence and the latest in ophthalmic technology. We're currently seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and skilled individual to join our practice as an Ophthalmic Technician/Front Desk Associate.
Responsibilities:
Clinical/Ophthalmic Technician Duties:
Conduct preliminary eye exams, including visual acuity, refraction, and intraocular pressure tests Administer eye drops, dilate pupils, and prepare patients for procedures Assist the ophthalmologist with patient care and procedures as needed Maintain and sterilize ophthalmic instruments and equipment
Front Desk Duties:
Greet patients, manage check-in and check-out processes Schedule appointments and handle patient inquiries via phone and email Process billing, insurance verification, and patient payments Manage patient records in the EMR system and ensure compliance with HIPAA standards
Qualifications:
Prior experience in an ophthalmic practice or as an ophthalmic technician preferred Basic understanding of ophthalmic terminology and procedures Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment Proficiency with EMR systems and basic computer skills
