The Ophthalmology/Optometry teams at Scripps Clinic Jefferson and Scripps Clinic Rancho Bernardo are a tight-knit, established and knowledgeable group of individuals who support each other in career development and training. The Ophthalmic Tech is responsible for: Performing patient assessments and technical skills to accurately assess the ophthalmic status of each patient, including emergency procedures and medication administration as appropriate. Educates patients and documents patient interactions. Practices infection control Contributes to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care.

Additional responsibilities include:

managing technician schedules, supply and medication ordering and inventory.

Required Qualifications:

Current BLS card for Healthcare Professional from American Heart Association (AHA)

Preferred Qualification:

Position Pay Range:
