Optometry Technician II

Gardner Health Services is currently recruiting to fill an Optometry Technician II position. This is a full-time position based out of the CompreCare Health Center located in San Jose, CA.The Optometry Technician II reports to the

Optometry Director:

assists the Optometrists and performs a variety of tasks related to the ordering and dispensing of ophthalmic prescriptions. Also assures appropriate reimbursement for services and lenses, including collection of fees. This recruitment will remain open until filled. Minimum Qualifications:

Optometry Technician IITwo (2) or more years institutional training with degree certified and certification or five (5) years experience. Fluency in both English and Spanish, preferred. Interact in a courteous helpful manner with patients, clients and staff and to work effectively with a diverse population in a teamwork environment. Demonstrated proficiency in optometric clinical procedures and theories.•If selected, other documents and certifications may be required as part of the hiring and credentialing process•

Compensation:

Compensation and level of position placement will be determined based on relevant experience and education.

$22.27 - $28.21/Hourly
