As an Optical Technician, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the Engineering and R D teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to collaboration, which will align successfully in the organization.

DOE What's the Job? Assemble and integrate opto-mechanical devices, including optical components, mechanical housing, and associated hardware and cabling. Perform precision optical alignment of opto-mechanical assemblies to specified tolerances, including free‑space and fiber‑coupled systems. Maintain accurate assembly records, including inspection and test reports and assembly logs. Provide feedback on design or process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency. Write test reports, identify gaps in documentation, and collaborate with product engineers to create necessary documentation. What's Needed? High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 2+ years of experience in a high precision optical/opto-mechanical manufacturing/production environment. Experience with handling and cleaning optical fibers and elements. CAD experience (AutoCAD or SolidWorks). Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret engineering drawings and follow procedures. What's in it for me?
