Job Description

Ophthalmic Technician 4545 East 9th Avenue, Denver, CO 80220 $25.20 - $26.80 an hour - Full-time $25.20 - $26.80 an hour - Full-time Dr. Richard Levinson has been one of Denver's leading providers of Comprehensive, Cataract and Laser Vision eye care for more than 35 years. Responsibilities Ophthalmic Technician Responsibilities:
Test and measure patient eye function Assist Ophthalmologist with tests and treatment Assess complete spectrum of ocular problems: cataracts, glaucoma, retina, neurology, trauma, etc. Measure visual acuities Take patient history (ocular, medical, family) Pupil assessment Keratometry measurements Refracting Color and vision testing Schirmer testing Lensometry Motilities Stereo testing Amsler Grid testing Angle assessment Eye Drop Administration Stock back offices and clean Clean and sterilize instruments Prescription refills Triage referring doctor questions and needs Prepping medical charts
Qualifications The Ophthalmic Technician Qualifications:
Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills Be reliable, trustworthy and consistent Be a well-organized, team-player with great attention to detail Highly energetic with positive attitude Must be able to walk and stand for eight hours Must be able to type or write legibly in a dimly lit setting
