Experience preferred but not required, training on-site. We are seeking an Optometric Technician/Administrative Assistant to join our team! You will perform clinical and administrative functions in order to drive company success. Duties Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with the intake process to ensure accurate medical records. Prepare patients for examinations by performing preliminary tests including visual acuity, refraction, and intraocular pressure measurements using specialized equipment. Answer incoming telephone calls and making outbound calls for confirmations and appointment scheduling. Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, answering patient inquiries, and coordinating follow-up care to ensure a seamless patient experience. Pull eligibility and benefits through vision insurance as well as submitting eye exams for billing. Requirements Prior experience in medical office settings is preferred but not required, will do on-site training. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy at all times. Ability to prioritize and multi-task. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics. Strong attention-to-detail and organizational skills
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
