What Youll Do:
Create a welcoming, safe, and supportive experience for pediatric patients and families Assist providers with minor procedures and clinical care Room patients and ensure accurate intake, documentation, and medical records Safely operate ophthalmic equipment and administer ophthalmic solutions per guidelines Support patient safety and uphold regulatory standards at all times Communicate clearly with patients, families, and care teams Coordinate prescriptions, medications, and information requests Address patient questions with care and professionalism Assist with scheduling, authorizations, and general office support What Makes You a

Requirements Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of Ophthalmology Assistant or Medical Assistant accredited training program preferred. 1 year experience in a physiciansoffice or hospital outpatient department may be accepted in lieu of degree/diploma fromaccredited ophthalmology or medical assistant program.
Experience:
Ophthalmology Assistant experience preferred but not required.
Licensure:
N/A Certification:
Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) certification preferred.

American Heart Association / Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Other:
Medical terminology, basic knowledge of ocular disease, communication skills and proficiency with electronic health record required.
