We encourage certification, provide compensation for continuing education, and promote from within. We are hiring an ophthalmic assistant. Your duties include diagnostic testing and work-up for Lens Implant patients, glaucoma & retina care, and annual comprehensive evaluations. You must also maintain medical charting in Electronic Health records, and patient interaction at all stages of contact as you help maintain a smooth clinic flow. COA/COT preferred, but 3+ years experience in optometry or ophthalmology will be considered and scribe experience is a plus. This position is considered full-time and typically 36 hours per week with attractive compensation and benefits. No weekend office hours. You will rotate between our Ft Myers and Cape Coral locations, with consideration given for where you live. We provide a personalized patient experience unlike the typical medical office and want you on our team if you have a similar commitment to extraordinary patient service. You must be personable, reliable, able to think quickly on your feet, pay diligent attention to detail, and work collaboratively with our doctors, technicians and front-office staff.
